Yes. As part of a Buoy interview, people say whether they are answering questions about themselves or someone else. If answering for someone else, users complete the interview with that person in mind and get personalized recommendations for that person. Buoy can be used for individuals between the ages of 2 to 120.
In keeping with Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Buoy’s Privacy Policy, Buoy’s services are not directed to children, therefore Buoy cannot provide its services and collect personal information from children under the age of 13. However, a parent, guardian, or other person above the age of 13 may use Buoy on their behalf.
